Good morning 🌅 Respect comes in different form I saw a tiktok video of an Indian Guy (who currently lives in the Philippines) explaining the reason behind the trending videos of street foods in India wherein a lot of Filipinos making it a meme and content. A lot of Indian street food vendors are seen to make the food barehands. Some Filipino keep on sharing those vids and make fun of it, and some even copy it by mixing foods that can't be eaten anymore since they exaggerate it by putting soap etc. They just waste the food. So this guy explained that, India is a poor country and they have to make food as fast as they can so they can sell more to the point they have to use their barehands to make it. Government is also corrupt just like our country but theirs are lot more evident. When I saw the video, I honestly thought "oh no I won't eat this food" because yeah I felt like it lacks sanitation, but that opinion, my thoughts, I never released it on social media because I know there's a story behind it. The thing is, the food is not offered to us so what's the ruckus all about? Same thing that the guy said something like (not the exact) "There are some things that we also find odd in the Philippines but we never comment about it. It's your culture and we have to respect it". Respect comes in different form, and sometimes silence is the best way to show it. If you're one of those who shared and make fun of it, hope you'll apologize and reflect. And to all Indian noisers out there, I am sorry in behalf of my countrymen for being insensitive about it.
