Mars

Gulped down leftover time as the Colossal Titans. Drenched like a rain catcher in a Gothic fairy tale. Muddled the fortress that I’ve rendered like choosing Mars over the Earth. Eight letters pierced like axes of lies in a thumping heart. Brown eyes banished my hungry spirit like a surplus. Rejection with a mask of one-sided love tormented like an internal massacre. Unhinged mind capsized digging holes of last afterthought. Never be a guilt-ridden from your enchanted past, for “enough” didn’t suit me. Peddling each other’s heartbeat probably the hindmost barrier. Indeed a picturesque time lapse of my tragic demise. Worms slurped through stench of my rotting body. Get through your hand ‘til my last breath with a whisper, “Sorry, I wasn’t good enough for you.”
