November started with big news in South Africa with one of the largest stores in the country now accepting bitcoin on the lightning network as payment at checkout. The payments are built into their current POS system so all you need to do is scan the QR code with your Lightning wallet and obviously have enough funds to pay for the bill and you’re done This is a major step forward in helping people unlock the value sitting in bitcoin to get goods and services and allow for people overseas to send money home that can immediately be spent on food and other essentials Do you have bitcoin payments in your country? How have you done it? Would you spend your bitcoin or rather hodl it and spend your fiat?
