I have been having debates with Tesla bulls who feel this company is really the future even though it’s only 1% of the car market I feel this company is way overpriced and is relying on subsidies to stay in business It’s saving Grace that bulls point to is the autopilot that could be licences to other car manufacturers which is a possibility but I don’t see why that can justify the value of the company The second is the battery tech that they claim as it gets cheaper the cars will become cheaper to use and build But If battery tech would improve wouldn’t that manufacturing capacity be focused on something that users more batteries like laptops and smart phones I don’t think people have considered the alternative uses for improved battery tech and is just falling inlove with a narrative spun up by Elon and his marketing team
