A few days after Tesla releases it’s new model S plaid it catches fire by itself! While we don’t know if the owner damaged the car it’s still not a good look for their new flagship model As much as I think EVs are going to be our future I don’t think they are ready yet there is too much that can go wrong with these things and cost to repair and maintain still need to come down considerably I don’t see Evs being better for the environment yet if we look at all that goes into making them and maintaining them It’s a feel good narrative to drive an EV but the fact is a combustion car is still more effective for the consumer and the environment
