The idea of social media combining with blockchain is nothing new but the various iterations that I have seen have so many Ponzi like characteristics that people won’t see easily because they are either able to earn the token or they benefit from not speaking about how the Ponzi works I won’t name names, but if you always shilling your platform to try and drum up liquidity then that’s not a good sign. If the token isn’t used anywhere else but within that ecosystem, it’s not a good sign If the token has forced lock up periods, it’s not a good sign If the APR for staking is well above 7% it’s not a good sign Robbing Peter to pay Paul is an old business model and just because it’s on a blockchain doesn’t make it any less Ponzi like

Exactly this, I feel publish0x is the only platform keeping it real trying to match the economical value of content to the payouts in a way that is sustainable. It shows these days in the very low payouts. Many of the others mostly rely on some kind of ponzi model to keep rewards going. It's still very early though and it will be interesting to see how this entire space evolves.
