The Drina regatta is the oldest and most massive manifestation of tourist - recreational character on the river Drina (Serbia) It is held in memory of the ancient Drina rafters and is a combination of tradition and modern tourist trends. This unique carnival on the water, along with a large number of other diverse events, is one of the largest tourist events in Serbia and the largest event on the water in this part of Europe. In addition to the great descent on the river Drina, the Drina regatta also includes numerous accompanying contents that attract over 100,000 visitors to Bajina Basta every July. Growing from year to year, the Drina regatta formally gained the status of one of the most important events in Serbia in 2016.
