The last day of my stay in Kikinda, I used to visit one of the symbols of Kikinda, for which this town is known outside the borders of Serbia. It is an unusual street, a real green tunnel and an oasis of nature in the urban core of the city. At one time, urban planners, architects and ecologists decided at an international competition which is the most beautiful street in the world, and they ranked this street in the north of Banat among the most impressive. It is a tree line that simply covers the houses and the street, which is why it is quite pleasant in the shade and shade here, even during the greatest heat. The tree line was planted at the end of the Second World War and has 389 trees. There are mostly nettles, maples, lindens and a few mulberry trees. my photo
