Narod od davnina veruje da dani u nedelji nisu isti. Ima srećnih i nesrećnih, "dobrih" i "loših", onih kada treba izbegavati određene poslove i onih kada ne valja podići ništa "teže od kašike". Zašto bi se inače i govorilo "crni petak", "čestita nedelja", "luda sreda"… Tako su i ljudima rođenim na određene dane počele da se pripisuju određene osobine. Nedelja je dan odmora.
