Ruby Throated Hummingbird at my deck feeder earlier. Love seeing these tiny birds. I hope to see more as the weather warms. I make the nectar fresh using sugar and water. You have to be sure to get the ratio correct, as you don't want to give them too much sugar, or not enough. I use 1-4. One cup of sugar to four cups of water. I heat in on low until the sugar melts. Let it cool in the frig and fill the feeder as needed. Another bird to take care of for a few months. Then he will be gone until next year. So exciting to do my part with nature.
