Excited to see these birds yesterday in my backyard Poplar tree. These are Cedar Waxwings. They have a yellow band around their tails. I have never seen them here. And it is rare to see them in the winter. They eat mainly berries and insects. And they travel in flocks. There must have been 40-50 at one time in my tree. I could not get closer due to all of the snow. I hope they return for better photos. Such beautiful birds. #AlwaysOriginal #BackyardBirds
