Otro de los inventos argentinos más conocidos y aplicados a nivel mundial, fue lo que hoy se conoce como bondi. El nombre de colectivo fue denominado por ser transporte colectivo. En otros países lo llaman autobús, ómnibus o autocar. A pesar de que hoy se presentan en las calles de todos los países del mundo, este transporte nació en Buenos Aires. En 1928, un grupo de taxistas dio origen al colectivo cuando subió a más de un pasajero con el valor de boletos más baratos que el transporte individual.
