sorry but not a big fan of Christmas but do like christmas trees and lights. Grandson asked if we could put some out the front and decorate the tree. That required a trip to our favourite place “Bunnings”. On one condition he does not ask for a Bunnings Gingerbread-man but can still play in the kids playground. Deal was struck. 2 buckets of 350 lights (25m) with transformers that make lights flash. Same style as what we had already for back garden. Now we have a spare flashing transformer to swap out. In WA the Albany Woolley Bush is considered their Christmas tree and we have one by the letterbox covered in coloured flashing lights. Next the Christmas tree was bought inside and the pot was placed in a bucket. The finishing touch was 20 glass boubles, I bought in America in 2004. Grandson very carefully passed them to me to place on the tree, very aware how delicate they are. As a special treat we visited Samson Court, Carine. The whole street is lit up and just blows his mind. Last time we went there he was just 2.

Finally cracked the magic 5 ADA needed to claim the https://freecardano.com/?ref=150466 rewards. It has taken 2 years since last claimed ADA from the faucet. Do we - withdraw immediately to the Grandson Ledger Nano and stake on Yoroi - or keep it rolling and let it build up further while the price is low (ADA reward high)

So close to the 5 ADA minimum withdrawal. The current ADA value per roll is 0.00094162, just need 26 more rolls. Been playing the ADA faucet for over 3 years. Started when it only needed 1 ADA to withdraw. First payout was 16 May 2019 1.50011262 Second was 30 May 2019 1.06815029 We were running 7 accounts on 7 different browsers on the mobile. Had alarm set every hour and took about 6 minutes to complete the 4 faucets x 7 accounts. From memory we were collecting 5 ADA a month back then. We were able to complete up to 14 cycles in a day over a 7 month period. That 10% of the waking day playing faucets, https://freecardano.com/?ref=150466 The Faucet Phase, oh the glory days 😎 https://www.publish0x.com/bragato18/what-i-learned-from-my-faucet-phase-xjknpq?a=y1ako5raQG

Just realised can send the BEP-20 faucet rewards to coinspot if we want to swap it. Advantage of using coinspot is it gives us some capital gains to declare for the tax year. Need to find out first if it is actually capital gains or income tax we should be paying. As we didn’t actually purchase the SHIB. Would prefer a non KYC exchange but Kucoin our current doesn’t do BSC. The tax dept does not allow to declare parts of a dollar only whole dollars. Interesting given the value of the SHIB at the moment is 0.81 of a Australian dollar. But a good time to do swaps, as it will probably create a capital gains loss of at least a dollar. When we started using the Shiba Inu faucet we were getting 7 SHIB per roll and now it is 32 SHIB. that would make it an average 20 SHIB per roll at a value of $1.32 tax loss $1.32 - $0.81 = $0.51 rounding to nearest dollar $1.00 - $1.00 = $1.00 https://freeshibainu.com/?ref=15036

Crypto Is Easy Market Update excerpt @markhelfman “….People seem to talk about GBTC/Greyscale lately because of problems at its parent company, Digital Currency Group (DCG). A four-bullet summary of the situation: - DCG is a valuable company. - Genesis is worthless and its liabilities are too big for DCG to back-stop. - Greyscale is a cash cow and the Greyscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) is one independent entity under the DCG umbrella. - DCG wants a bail-out but potential bailout-ers know they’ll get a better deal waiting for DCG to file bankruptcy. Bankruptcy can go a few ways. Under the most likely option, each part of the DCG empire will go to the highest bidder, spin off as its own entity, or get dismantled—but there are several paths that can produce different results. It’s unclear to me what, if any, impact this will have on the crypto market. Unless DCG dissolves the trust, there’s no crypto at stake, only cash commitments and liabilities—right? Do you know if there’s any crypto at stake here? Leave a comment below. Would DCG dissolve the trust and convert all that BTC into USD? That would tank bitcoin’s price and seems counterproductive. GBTC is easy money and a lot of it. Why kill the golden goose? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Why isn’t anybody talking about USD Tether anymore? We no longer have to worry about KuCoin, Nexo, and Crypto.com?…” MarkHelfman.com/bio

Satoshi Quote "The current system where every user is a network node is not the intended configuration for large scale. That would be like every Usenet user runs their own NNTP server. The design supports letting users just be users. The more burden it is to run a node, the fewer nodes there will be. Those few nodes will be big server farms. The rest will be client nodes that only do transactions and don't generate." Satoshi Nakamoto 29 July 2010

What a month this has been. Nov 2 CoinDesk published an article about the balance sheet of Alameda Research. Alameda Research was an affiliated hedge fund controlled by SBF, that had become one of the industry’s most prestigious trading firms. The report sparked questions and concerns, as it revealed that more than $5B of Alameda’s $8B liabilities were collateralized against the FTT token, a token that was primarily owned by FTX and Alameda. Nov 6 CZ tweeted that they would be liquidating the remainder of their FTT position, that had previously been acquired in connection with exiting their original investment in FTX. The tweet caused an immediate sell off of FTT and other cryptocurrencies, as well as a “run” on FTX to withdraw assets. Nov 7 FTX halted non-fiat withdrawals amid $6 billion in outflows in a 72-hour period. Nov11 FTX and its subsidiaries file for bankruptcy; Alameda Research announced it would also be shut down.
