Phishing Opensea scam email scores 8/10 for professionalism. The first red flag is that we never opened an Opensea account in the first place. But ignoring that minor point. The email was from team@opensea.io. Using opensea.io takes you to the legit site. Normally the prefix is support, admin, info or such like. Never seen team used before. The social media links take you to the legit sites. Even the empty box takes you to Opensea Discord Clicking on unsubscribe here takes you to (https://opensea.io/login?referrer=%2Faccount%2Fsettings%3Futm_campaign%3DEmail%2520Verification%26utm_content%3DPlease%2520Verify%2520Your%2520Email%2520Email%26utm_medium%3Demail_action%26utm_source%3Dcustomer.io) Clicking on “Verify Email” takes you to (https://opensea.io/account/verify-email?c=b3cb33d6c1f35905620dd72ea82b1ddd7ee2295bedf18b6f3ee447fcae17f2a4&utm_campaign=Email+Verification&utm_content=Please+Verify+Your+Email+Email&utm_medium=email_action&utm_source=customer.io) and says your email has been verified and need to go “Back To OpenSea”. Of course you will need login in at this point. And we don’t have an account so we couldn’t proceed any further
