#Inclusion and #Diversity in the #Mining World How many times have you just made it to the nearest toilet to find it closed for cleaning. No longer will “I was busting” be acceptable. They have added #female to the closed for cleaning sign and breaching the demarcation line is now instant dismissal. With the push to have the workforce 50% female measures need to be taken to make a historically hostile environment more female friendly. Social change is not always welcomed so the industry is taking small baby steps. Funny thing happened. Finished doing my business and the female cleaner was already set-up. Oops sorry and left in a hurry. Damn left my water bottle inside the crubicle. Had to wait for the cleaner to pack up shop before retrieving. Time for my 3rd expresso shot.
