The Big Bad Daddy is in trouble Genesis halting withdrawals, this is really going to hurt the big boys of crypto and the little people if they are still in the game. - started as the first OTC Bitcoin desk in 2013 - now crypto's largest lending desk. - part of DCG, Barry Silbert's holding company that owns CoinDesk, Foundry, Grayscale, and Luno - DCG also runs a big VC firm. The Shell Game - you give your crypto to e.g. Gemini - Gemini gives your crypto to Genesis - Genesis lends your crypto to a fund - the fund borrows from Genesis X+2% - Genesis gives Gemini X+1% - Gemini gives you X% You now earn yield. What could possibly go wrong? And this is why Genesis halting withdrawals is so bad. Genesis sits at the epicentre of crypto capital markets. They custody funds. They help institutions earn yield. They are the yield product for CeFi platforms. This may be your last chance to own your crypto before it is vaporised. Steady lads, waiting to deploy capital.

Thanks for the warning. Rewarded with 2 cents. Do you think Binance is in the same shoes?
I don’t trust CZ, especially not with our and grandson’s $$$ Do they offer products earning interest/rewards? If yes then they are exposed. How much? CZ ain’t going to tell anybody till he suspends withdrawals. Have posted fuller version on pb0x and will edit tonite when get back to camp then post on read.cash. Plus need to DYOR abit more. This is rushed and limited by phone size, plus meant to be rigging for crane
Yeah tbh I also don't trust that $1b is enough for covering all user funds. But I'm looking for a cheap way to withdraw. BTC network fee (Binance fee) is 0.0002 BTC which is around $3.3 now but means more later. Is there a way to use other chains to withdraw BTC to a non custodial wallet?
p.s. how did you give 2 cents? sorry haven’t had chance to explore here yet
