Most trading is done with custodians. And most of BTC new investors are using Grayscale, the Canadian ETFs, Robinhood, Paypal that offer no real BTC. More and more are just buying through other exchanges and don't bother moving to wallets. This is not a healthy stat for adoption, but explains it is just speculation.
