A lot has been written about Satoshi Nakamoto over the years.
Who was he?
Is he a CIA plot?
Why did he disappear?
Is he dead?
And more recently, did Satoshi move 40 BTC from his wallet to an unknown wallet?
But what did Satoshi Nakamoto write?
In the Beginning
The early messages from Satoshi Nakamoto tended to be Satoshi spreading the word amongst the Cypherpunk community.
In August of 2008, Satoshi sent two private emails to cypherpunks, Wei Dai and Hal Finney, asking them for feedback on early versions of the Bitcoin white paper.
Later on the messages tend to be Satoshi answering questions from interested Cypherpunks or correcting their misunderstandings.
You need to bear in mind these messages were written to his peers in the Cypherpunk "movement". (Not to be confused with Cyberpunk).
But most of the early Cypherpunks failed to grasp the significance of the P2P e-cash paper. Some were just plain confused and didn't understand what Satoshi was presenting to their world. How ever there were a select few who thought it showed promise.
Early Cypherpunks
Hal Finney, an eager coder, ran the initial Bitcoin client and submitted bug reports. Hal was also the recipient of the first Bitcoin transaction.
Wei Dai created b-money, an anonymous, distributed electronic system. It was published on the Cypherpunks mailing list in November 1998.

Napster was founded in 1999 as a pioneering peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing internet software that emphasized sharing digital audio files, typically audio songs, encoded in MP3 format. As the software became popular, the company ran into legal difficulties over copyright infringement.
2009 January 17. Bitcoin P2P e-cash paper.
Well that one sort of came true.
2009 February 15. Bitcoin open source implementation of P2P currency.
It is slowly becoming obvious to more people, except maybe the Harry Potter lady.
