It's not good and why some leaves are dry?
Normally the fallen leaves get dried that's how banana trees are.or maybe you can show me a picture of the kinds you have around your region
It give up because of its fruit its too heavy and added the wind

maybe the wind was too strong and the banana tree couldn't handle it.
