Neutralize garlic and onion smelling hands by rubbing them with lemon juice, baking soda, or simply rub them on a stainless steel spoon (or on your stainless steel sink). When you touch the material, the molecules in the steel bind with the stink-causing molecules (such as sulphur from garlic).
