Money
A family was ruined to road. Destiny played its card, and whipped off all the riches they had, to bring down on rags. A small child in that family, planned to skip education to help in payment of her sibling's fees. Her sibling who was merely 8 years old, broke her barely half-filled piggy bank, just when there was not even a rupee in her mother's hands, to buy 100gm of flour for lunch. A guy, and his family were helpless, they were out of money, and as it happens, blood relatives is just a name, other wise, people are related by money. No help from anyone, they switched their city, lived in hardly-comfortable circumstances, seeing others around them drooling in riches. That guy struggled hard, every bit of his being, and then when he was sufficiently rich - people saw the over-night success that was a result of more than 2 decades of struggle and compromises, those relatives now call them to meet, the same ones who once kicked and abused them. Both stories are real, and i have witnessed both of them and been a part of one myself. Money matters? Hell yeah, it does. ***To those who say, money cannot buy everything, i want to say, no money did no good to me or my family. Money can buy everything, it brought smile back on my mother's face, who is wrinkled due to poverty we faced. Money could made me and my siblings well-educated, sufficient enough that people who turned away their faces when we needed them, now call us to visit them. Money bought me happiness of my family, stability of minds, sufficient food to eat and donate to needy, money brought me and my family our long-lost self-respect back in society. Money matters? Yes. A big one.***
