Some recent successes exposing more people to the potential of Bitcoin Cash
To date, it's been about 4 years of development work and about 2 years of community building for our project, Blockchain Poker.
We thought it would be a good time to show off some of our recent successes and to showcase how being relentless can actually pay off if you're able to stick with it.
Our goal for the past year or so has been to provide people with a real example of how Bitcoin (Cash) can actually be better than the financial platforms that people are currently used to. So far, we've done this by dropping the barrier to entry to as close to 0 as possible as well as putting a spotlight on what makes Bitcoin Cash so powerful -- its effectiveness as digital cash.

Every one of our new players this year had the opportunity to experience Bitcoin as it was meant to be experienced, instant and (basically) free to use. We were able to ensure deposits and withdrawals made were both instant and free. This is not something that can be done with many other blockchains where transaction reliability and cost are things that both the user and the business have to actually think about.
We hear all the time that people often show their friends how Bitcoin works by depositing into their Blockchain Poker accounts. Knowing this, we wanted to be sure that their first experience seeing it (Bitcoin) in action was as close to perfect as possible. So in 2019, we introduced what we internally called "instant deposit detection". This involved completely overhauling how our transaction processing layer worked but ended up getting the detection time down to about 1 second (sometimes faster). We also added visual feedback (toast message + confetti) to really drive the point home that something really magical just happened.

Exceptional experiences are what make people want to come back again and again. Each pain point you remove and new tool you provide builds your reputation with your existing community and expands your opportunities to grow it.
In 2020, we hope to continue to build on this momentum. Bitcoin Cash will, of course, continue to be pivotal in making this happen as we show even more people the power of 21st century money.
There are expansion plans in place to do this long term but the primary focus right now is making sure we're able to do 1 thing well. As the Bitcoin Cash community grows and it becomes easier for companies in the space to make money, it'll be easier to grow the team size and begin working on this kind of thing.
We do have a lot of the groundwork ready but the key is execution and we want to be able to commit 100% before making that move.
I played on Blockchain poker a couple times, was good, just got distracted by other things, I will play a few more hands soon ( if I wrote down the password lol. Nice site, good job guys :-)
I never really played poker, but a friend of mine does play a lot online. We sometimes talk about Bitcoin and all and he invested long ago a bit in a few coins, but he is not that enthusiastic or interested in it.
A few days ago I showed him blockchain.poker and I finally sparked his interest. Utility!
This is one of the few services, that I can actually proudly present, without any awkward drawbacks.
This is really a cool service, already better than any other legacy pokersite and I myself am getting the desire to play. I just don't know how 😋
awesome, great job providing a use case and emphasizing magic
if I had the time I would play couple tables
