This was the very first photo I took earlier when I woke up. I know it will bloom today and so it was the one I checked first. And the very reason why I got hungry when taking other photos of dew drops and dragonfly. According to my plant app, this is Hibiscus rosa-sinensis or colloquially known as Chinese hibiscus, China Rose or Hawaiian hibiscus in the family of Malvaceae (Wikipedia.) We call it here tapuranga/tapulanga in Hiligaynon. And like some other flowering plants, hibiscus blooms only last a day before closing and will eventually fall off the plant.

kabilis naman ng beauty nya magfade, only for a day. Kaya blessed ka pala if you see it bloom, cherish it dhil later mawawala na. Parang nasad naman ako, nacocompare lang sa tao ba, you see them now and later nawala na sila...... Medyo melancholic for me etong plant na shinare mo sis. Thank you though, nice to know. So, one must stare at its beauty while it lasts.
Ang ganda nya
