@Blendz more from that month

When was the last time you checked your weight? Last year, last month, last week? If you are 20 years old and above, you should take a look at your BMI or Body Mass Index. The result of your weight in kilograms divided by the square of your height in metres (kg/m²) will define your nutritional status. 18.5 kg/m² (underweight) 18.5-24.9 kg/m² (normal ) 25-29.9 kg/m² (overweight) 30-39.9 kg/m² (obese) 40kg/m² up (severely obese) Adults who are obese, are at risk of many serious diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and cancers. Obesity is a serious and costly chronic disease and increases the risk of severe illness from covid-19. It may triple the risk of being hospitalized due to covid-19 infections, ICU admissions, mechanical ventilation, or worst deaths. So if you are eating too much of cakes, dairies, meat, and fried foods instead of fruits and green leafy vegetables and you are not doing exercise and physical activities, it is time to burn that not so friendly fats! Eat whole fresh fruits and vegetables and plant-based foods for stronger immune system and lower risk of chronic and infectious diseases. ©WHO-Europe, CDC
