Green Coconut Water Did you know that coconut water has so many names? Call it Asian Coconut Water, Coconut H2O, Coconut Palm Water, Cocos Nacifera, Eau de Coco, Eau de Jeune Coco, Eau de Coco Verte, Fresh Young Coconut Water, and may favourite name is Green Coconut Water. It is sometimes referred to as green coconut water because immature coconuts are green. Green means life and just like its many names, it has many health benefits also. Coconut water is a good source of potassium, sodium, and magnesium. May have antioxidant properties, may prevent kidney stones, lowers blood pressure, and support heart health. Contains vitamins B2, B3, and C and other ingredients that may help reduce wrinkles and fine lines especially for ladies who want to look younger. Drinking coconut water in the morning in an empty stomach or anytime of the day is okay as long as it is fresh, unsweetened, and not more than 3 cups per day according to a health expert. Though, natural or plain water is still best and important for rehydration and body cleansing. Photo below was the remaining coconut water I kept in a jar from my "loko" experiment few days ago and my early drink this morning. It will stay for a week if properly stored but since we have few golden, and dwarf coconut trees here, I can drink it fresh everyday. And if you want also to have a fresh healthy, and unsweetened coconut juice, you can plant dwarf varieties in your backyard or in your garden. It will only take 3-6 years for them to bear fruit. I love coconut water specially when you put milk in it🤗
Good that you love it, too. It's more creamy in taste if there is milk added but I stop animal-based milk already and much healthier if just pure coconut water..thank you for sharing your blessings :)
