Mary May May is Mary's Month because it is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Heavenly Mother. As we celebrate our mothers for their importance to our families, we remember Mary as the Mother of God and the greatest saint. We do not worship Mary, we honour her as Jesus' mother and our mother too. In fact, we honour Mary not just on May but everyday of the year through prayer. Since Romans also claimed May to honour Flora, the goddess of blooms, May Crowning is also practiced and usually done by childrens offering flower crowns to Mary's statues. And here, sharing with you some flowers that bloom early as April. They give perfume like scents day and night that attract bees, butterflies, and birds, which are also my subjects for photoshoots.
