How much sleep do we need to stay healthy and alert? Is 5,6, or 7 hours sleep enough, or it depends by age? Will zombies eat our brains if we lack sleep or our brains eat itself? Experts say that sleep requirements vary by person to person. Adults may need 7-9 hours, teens 8-10, and babies and children may need 9 hours or more to enable their growth development. According to a doctor on a tv show few months I go, if you sleep late and woke up early and you're not sleepy the whole day, then it was enough. But if you sleep early and woke up too late and you're still sleepy, then your body still needs more time to repair and be ready for another day. It still needs to complete the sleep-wake cycle. And take note, it may take days or weeks to recover from a 1 day sleep debt and so what more if you stay late every night? Like what I'm doing few days ago..and tonight? And photo below shows our brain when we have enough sleep and when we don't get enough sleep. It literally eats itself! So I need to say goodnight, sleep tight, sweet dreams and don't forget to 🙏.
