Sustainable It's almost 11 a.m. and one of the best doctors is up and shining bright but it feels like there's a snow outside! I'm now drinking warm oregano tea and still covering my head including my ears with an old shirt and my feet with blanket to avoid coughing and clogged nose. Para akong albularya today, haha! The title of my post yesterday was "Not Sustainable" and so now, I will remove the first word para balanse and will talk about the sustainable foods I harvested yesterday. I visited our garden in the afternoon and checked some lemons and found out that the biggest one I saw last December is ready to harvest. I'm always not prepared everytime I visit there so it was hard for me to carry it on one hand, for it was like a smaller green coconut and I'm holding a phone in the other hand. And the worst thing is, I went there immediately after I took a bath and not wearing long pants and long sleeves so I do the scratching after. Good thing, my immune system is quite okay so no more red patches and swollen skin. I also tried to check golden coco if it's ready to eat but sad to say, it was too young. And I don't know how to get the ripe one on other trees higher than the one I checked. I just picked some fallen dry coconut fruits and gathered them in one place for it can be used later in vegetable soups or salads. If we are now in a threat of viruses or of a not so sustainable protection that we taught to believe it is, let's eat lemon, coconuts, and other fruits and veggies. Let's eat sustainable foods to save the world. Happy Sustainableday!
