Hush, hush! Everytime I'm about to get angry for something, I just look at this pink Hush Angel. I'm talkative most of the time but when I remember this cutie angel figurine giving a hush sign, I choose to keep silent when I have nothing good to say and just do the inhale-exhale exercise and pray. It's better to be silent than to blurt out to avoid more misunderstandings and conflicts. And less talks, less mistakes as they say but of course we're just human beings. I remember when I was in elementary years, I don't want someone to insult or compare me or our group projects from them during their time. Like our vegetable gardens or rock gardens and so I make "sugod" to the high school department to confront my eldest sister's batchmate haha! But since they were mature enough and they knew me, they just let me say what I wanted to say and told me to go back to our classroom. Poor little girl, haha. But as we grow older, we will realize that being silent can be powerful. According to psychcentral. com, silence helps lower blood pressure that can prevent us from having a heart attack. It boosts our immune system and a 2006 study in Heart said that two minutes of silence will relieve tension in our body and brain and surprisingly (to me), it is more relaxing than listening to music. We should know when to speak and when to be silent. If ever we choose to speak, make sure it is healthy for you and the people around you. Like here in noise, we make some meaningful noises for few cents, not for sins. Hush, hush Tuesday everyone!
