@Blendz more from that month

My viand earlier na parang kwan daw ni piggy porky, ginataang dahon ng balinghoy/kamoteng kahoy or young cassava leaves cooked in coconut milk! Hindi alam o hindi kumakain nito ang mga rich kids but me, this is one of my favorites lalo pa if more pure coconut milk, onions, garlic, and ginger. I forgot when was the last time we have this as our viand, kaya super na miss ko siya. How I wish we have more cassava plants so that I can cook again next days, but we only have limited source of it, kaya I will plant some stalks tomorrow in the garden. The stalks that were thrown outside the fence just grow there and continue to survive, since my father stopped planting it for how many years already. Cassava plants were of big help for us before to have an extra income and extra food. And since we were already warned about food crisis, better be prepared. We haven't feel it yet, but atleast we can lessen the effect just incase. It's not about being nega but we're aware already of what is happening, so be like ants na tayo. Grow own food, reduce food waste, don't panic buy, instead buy two of the item you need. Buy local produce, learn natural ways to preserve food, and less shopping online if it's not so important. Good evening here, and good morning there my lovely friends!
