The Lost Bolo Two days ago, our town's social media page posted a photo of Andres Bonifacio at his shrine located at our town plaza without his bolo. And according to a post, the LGU replaced the lost bolo several times already as it is often destroyed or taken. They're appealing to those who were responsible to render respect to people who gave their lives for the freedom we are enjoying now. Many kababayans reacted and some commented that maybe someone borrowed and used it in farming or in cutting trees. Haysss, kakalungkot ang mga taong walang disiplina at respeto. And because of that incident, everyone is encouraged to report if they know any information as to who is responsible for the lost bolo of our hero. Today, we are celebrating the 124th year of freedom after more than 300 years under Spanish rule, remembering the heroes who fought for us by raising our national flag and you can see it waving in today's Google Doodle. Every Juan can be a hero and hope the spirit of heroism will not be lost like Andres Bonifacio's bolo. Happy Araw ng Kasarinlan, Pilipinas! 🙏🇵🇭
