"Marriage doesn't stop you from achieving anything. With a supportive spouse, you can make it" You see that statement? I take it with a pinch of salt. Yes you can achieve things because you've got a supportive spouse. BUT You can't achieve things at the same pace a single person would do. First, marriage takes away a degree of your freedom. You know ba? Okay. Then as a woman, pregnancy and (subsequent)childbearing and motherhood constrains your choices; employment, lifestyle, schedule... Some places won't hire you because you're married, pregnant or got a young kid. You can't even apply for just any job. Then you've got to take care of your young kids. You'd need a flexible schedule that accommodates them. Use your single days well sha. That's where I'm headed... #joDara
