Love Yourself

I am working in looking in the mirror And seeing myself for what i am I wish I could see myself the way He sees me worthy of his love Or the way my friends see me fun and loving Someone you want to keep around I hope to see what my parents see Smart and trustworthy maybe someone to be proud of What if when i look in the mirror I tried to see my loved ones instead ? They see something in me I don’t need to see the same As long as I remember they exist .
