Ever alter now

Captured in the moment raptured , wrapped within the moment trapped - a memory we dare embrace unawares it has us strapped to the mast of sinking futures , damning all we have here and now by seeking what has come before in hopes it will return somehow . This is how we take the sorrow from our past and build tomorrow into visions born to falter behind eyes that ever alter now . Broken in the moment spoken spoke within a moment cloaked by memories intransitive filling up our eyes with smoke . We react to moments musing through what we perceive as now not realizing our allegiance - that to the past our feelings bow. This is how we make tomorrow begging from our past , we borrow every vision born to falter behind eyes that ever alter now.
