Couple Trees
Planted all my seeds In a ground of steel I didn’t know It couldn’t even grow the weeds So i watered them day and night In hopes to raise some trees The days went , the months passed One year two years three I questioned everything The sun , the soil , the seeds Even my abilities Until it one day clicked I ran to my so-called garden Picked out the seeds Planted them elsewhere Now I have some wasted years And a couple of trees .
