I finally think I figured out why I think DCA is BS in my case. The @Oldbastard has been repeating his DCA mantra and I ain´t buying it....here´s why I think it doesn´t work for me. 1. First of all I love saving up stable coins I make from sales to buy a good dip. But secondly, as I am trying to make my money trading or at least buying and selling ....I don´t even think that DCA is possible. Or I should use the profit made from the sales and buy BTC every first Monday of the month? I think thaT DCA works for long-time hodlers, but I use 65% of my funds to make more crypto trading. And every now and then those trading profits allow me to add a bit of BTC to that 35% BTC stash...whenever I bought a good dip and things are looking chipper. So how would a trader benefit from DCA I still wonder? #DCA #trading #crypto #cryptocurrency

DCA does not really apply to core traders like you rightly said. Only good for position traders or hodlers. When you trade futures for example how do you do DCA? Practically impossible as you constantly buy and sell.
Excatly and even though I rather do spot trading, I sell my ALTS high, buy them low and build up my stable coins for the next low...when we hit that real low 25-50% dip I will buy some BTC with the stables I made from my alts...
Nice strategy I must say. The thing is, trading is highly technical, so most people will rather hodl than trying to follow price movement. Me for one I don't do spot trading. I prefer futures. It allows me to take advantage of the rising and falling of the market as I can place both buy and sell order. Though with very little leverage.
I like spot trading because I am not in a hurry and no matter what happens I don't get liquidated .... I just end up holding worthless coins 🤣
