𝐂𝐫𝐲𝐩𝐭𝐨 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭 As I love to forecast let´s do a little forecast on when noisecash payouts get fixed. It all started last Sunday, there was a bug or something causing a 500 Internal Server Error. The HTTP status code 500 is a generic error response. It means that the server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request. Now it took about an hour to get that sorted, but ever since payouts are stuck. That´s all the info I got so far but based on that I got some options. Option 1: The fix broke the payouts mechanism, but a quick fix to the payout code might break the mechanism again. Hence the dev will do a proper code fix and deployment once ready. Probably over the weekend, as I think the noise dev has a day job. Option 2: There was an update done over the weekend that caused the payouts to get stuck. And we will get a patch over the next weekend. Option 3: All the devs left and nobody is aware, in that case it will never get fixed and Marc has $4000 of BCH more a day, which is nice during this dip. So basically I expect a fix over the weekend, because noise is less busy during the weekends so the impact on the end-user is lower. Secondly, I truly believe that for a site as Noise you don´t have a full-time dev. Hence the most important thing was fixed, the fix last Sunday that made the site run again. The collateral damage to the payouts is basically a low-impact issue (I know some of you might not feel it that way). Low Impact because nobody is truly impacted, you all are still accumulating your Sats. And even though it´s annoying that it´s not your coins Yet, it´s like having your BCH on an exchange you temporarily cant withdraw from, but you can deposit. This is also the main reason why I consider this a bug. If our beloved BCH well called NoiseCash had truly dried up, nobody would be receiving free tips anymore. But some still do. If there was an end to this, why add those tips you receive to your payouts? Hence this whole Noise is dead theory makes no sense to me, also considering people still receive rewards on Readcash.
