Withdrawal your BAT Rewards from Uphold without High Gas Fees **So for a long time, I had no clue how to withdraw my BAT rewards to a wallet without paying Gas Fees but in the end, I figured it out.** I thought I was the last person on earth figuring it out so I never planned on sharing... till I met someone this week that also did not know how to do it.  *Thanks to* ***@tstn*** *I finally tried to withdraw my $BAT earnings from Brave ads. To withdraw 14 BAT, I'd have to pay 13 BAT in fees For full disclose, I've verified my account on uphold. I couldn't find an option for different chains (I wanted to withdraw to Polygon), but seems like it's only on Ethereum. With only less than 100 ads I'm getting monthly, it seems like I may actually have to wait for ETH consensus layer (eth2.0) to finally cash out my BAT earnings.* https://noise.cash/u/tstn

So to help him out and possibly others here we go: **Step 1 - Log in to Uphold** Log in open your Brave Browser card and select the send option.

Step 2 - Select Bitcoin Cash I will select Bitcoin Cash (BCH) because of it´s low fees- But Looking at those fees again BTG might be the cheapest option. Please DYOR but I will use BCH.

So you will have to scroll down till you see Bitcoin Cash:

Step 3 - Your BCH Address I initially tried it with my standard BCH address: bitcoincash:qqesav8kuwcrhl4y8qs9zfjg90cf8dnlkyz43u9w6u But this was not accepted, hence I used my legacy BCH address which was accepted.

Now I have been doing this in the past but I never paid that withdrawal fee. But it seems that at least since Oct 2021 there is a flat rate withdrawal fee of $2.99 for BCH.  Step 4 - Authenticator App More and more we get prompted for 2-step verification using the autjenticator app. A bit more hassle a lot more security:

Once confirmed you should receive the following notification in the right top corner.

Step 5 - The waiting starts As I am using the BCH network it should be going quickly and it did. In 20 minutes the transaction was completed.

Suprise Suprise So I was a bit supprised by the withdrawal fee because I did this 2 times before and never paid it. Last time was November, although as mentioned this fee existed prior to November. So if anyone can explain why I did not pay that fee before that would be great.

Money saved But at least you are now only paying a 3 dollar fee and couple of cents for the transaction and not a $3 dollar flate rate and a $10+ Dynamic Network fees as you would do moving it to BAT directly.

Now I was advised that sending it to the bank and then using your backaccount to buy crypto is a bit more work but Uphold will not charge you any fees for a withdrawal to your bank account.

But I will have to try that myself next time I have $10 in BAT rewards, and let you know if it works. Hope that is an easy way to save yourself some money in fees.
