I was so looking forward to a nice profit coming from my XRP before the end of the year. It all was going well and we would get a ruling soon, until last Friday when both parties filed separate motions to deny the summary judgment filing of the other. SEC claims that Ripple’s motion should be denied because of “undisputed evidence” it illegally sold unregistered securities. Ripple says the SEC had no legal basis to insist Ripple register XRP as a security. And on top of that Ripple Top Dev is leaving- Bougalis’ resignation comes as Ripple commences tests of an XRP Ledger sidechain compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), the software that runs smart contracts on Ethereum. So I guess we can scoop up some cheap XRP soon.
