Overview
We are proud to announce the Bitcoin Unlimited Explorer for Bitcoin Cash which can now be found at explorer.bitcoinunlimited.info. This new tool allows users and businesses the ability to explore the wealth of data found in the Bitcoin Cash blockchain.
The Bitcoin Unlimited Explorer is a fully-featured blockchain web app for exploring and analysing the BCH blockchain to gain live and historical insights into the Bitcoin Cash network.
Key Features
The new Bitcoin Unlimited Explorer offers not only the usual easy to use features found in most blockchain explorers but also advanced features including:
Mempool statistics,
A list of all unconfirmed transactions,
Information on transaction chain length,
Detailed block analysis,
Analysis of miners hash power distribution,
Measurement of miner signalling for NO IFP (including custom block ranges),
Historical mining difficulty charts,
Transactions and scripts decoder,
Double spend proof data (coming soon).
Technical
The BU Explorer heavily leverages the bitcoin RPC interface rather than build an ad-hoc parsing solution. It works in close combination with the existing BU infrastructure including the BCH Unlimited full node client and the ElectrsCash tool. This allows BU Explorer to instantly provide the huge amount of information that should be available from a high-end blockchain explorer.
The BU Explorer makes use of the open source block explorer ‘BTC RPC Explorer’ by developer Dan Janosik. BU developer Andrea Suisani built on this work to upgrade this explorer to work with Bitcoin Cash and offer even more functionality.
