Slope Point is located at the southernmost point of the South Island, the smaller of the two main islands that make up New Zealand. This region is under constant blows from the cold south-west winds blowing from Antarctica. Here the winds blow relentlessly and as you can see the trees resisted because nature is still stronger than anything.
