The Power of Trying It was the last day of November when my friends went into my home and explored the creative space in my room. I was watching them getting amazed by my own creations and suddenly, their eyes met mine. A question was thrown at me; "How did you learn to draw?" My brows furrowed when my mind was getting blurry. I couldn't find the answer to their question. I couldn't remember the time when I learned how to draw. So, I faced them and replied with a shrug of my shoulder. After that day, I travelled deep into my memories to find an answer. I stopped when I saw my 7 year-old self staring at a flower. My eyes were sparkling as if I wanted to take a picture of that flower but never had the chance to do so. Cellphone wasn't my thing that time, papers and pencils were. Instead of taking a picture of that flower, I used my pencil to draw one on my paper. I knew at that time, I wasn't good at drawing but I still gave it a try. As time passed by, I noticed small improvements on my works - I was on cloud nine. Going back to my present, drawing is still in my heart. Pencils and papers are still on my desk. I glance at my creative space and a curve on my lips is formed. I have found the answer to the question - I learned to draw because of my decision to try. To the people who want to know how to draw, don't block yourself from trying. Make drawing as your hobby and improvements will slowly show. Add drawing to your cart of hobbies!
