I've always wanted to change the world, but as I was growing up, I had no idea how, let alone what I wanted to do with my life. I therefore experimented with many activities, like studying, working, going on extended trips of backpacking, and developing my own schools of thought. Until I came upon these lines, I persisted in gazing outward, never actually experiencing any sense of contentment or tranquility; "Yesterday I was clever so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise so I am changing myself.” That's when I really started to realize that I am the beginning of whatever change I want to see in my life. And every change you want to see in your life starts with you. If you alter the inside, the outside will follow. The truth is that you have the ability to create anything you desire, but you are the obstacle between where you are and where you want to be. Not resources like time, money, or circumstances—you. Do you understand why? It's because your biggest challenge is you. The sooner you learn this, the better, and the sooner you accept, the sooner you will want to learn how you can change.
