It's been awhile since I last shared some artworks here due to my hectic schedule in preparation for the upcoming class opening.
I already completed my paperworks few days ago so I got some free time today and since I really missed drawing, I decided to just spend my day doing some new artwork. It's still in process but I'm really excited to share it with you guys. Hope you'll like it ☺
The reference model I used in this portrait is Ms. Julia Barretto, one of the most beautiful and talented actress/model here in the Philippines.
Materials used in the portrait are the following:
Koh-i-noor colored pencil
2B Mechanical pencil 0.5
I drew the outline of the photo then continue coloring the drawing. I started with emphasizing the dark and light shadows using four colors: black, dark brown, light brown and maroon. After that, I started with the details of the eyes, eyebrows, nose and lips. Upon achieving the desired details, I applied the actual skin colors using different shades like flesh, pink, orange, gold, green, etc.
I made the drawing more saturated than the actual photo because I just find it cute and unique than copying the exact colors of the reference, though I don't know if ya'll guys think the same way as I do. Anyway, I would be very glad if you'll share your thoughts and/or tips on my artwork.
Thank you so much for supporting me guys! Watch out for more artworks ♥ Stay safe.
