Sweets are still for our diet as long as we take it in moderation, needless to say, it is also plays important part in one's balance diet.
Today, I will be sharing my favorite dessert's recipe, leche flan. It's super easy to prepare, so I hope you'll try it yourselves and like it too. So here's the recipe:
1 can Evaporated milk (410 mL can)
1 can Condensed milk (380 mL can)
3/4 cup white sugar
7 egg yolks
2 whole eggs
3 Llanera (aluminum mold)
Put 1/4 cup white sugar in each llanera;
Heat over medium flame until caramelized (melted, light brown in color) then set aside;
Beat the egg yolk and eggs in a mixing bowl;
Gradually add evaporated and condensed milk;
Mix with a hand mixer or electric mixer until smooth;
Strain the mixture then pour into the llaneras and cover with aluminum foil;
Put in the steamer and steam for 25 to 30 minutes;
Let it cool, transfer in a container or plate then put in the fridge for 2-4 hours before serving.
