My Covid Journey Day 1 At noon time i felt something burning on my throat going up to nose, it's like a burning sensation very hot very dry. I told my hubby that i might be having a colds. Out of fear that it might be covid symptoms, i gargled hot water with salt and drink hot water yes, it's hot as long as i can take it, take medicine. But then before the evening comes i got fever and my throat and nose were getting worst. I started monitoring my temperature taking my medicine on time and gargling from time to time. Day 2 In the morning i still got fever but in the afternoon my fever is gone but then cough is developing. I'm having a dry cough. Then my hubby started coughing also. We are taking our medicine monitored the temperature and continuously gargling ang taking hot water, drink 'salabat', we also do inhalation process using hot water with salt (suob). We did this 2x a day morning and night time. Our cough is really really terrible because wen you cough as if all inside your body will come out and your head will burst but it's so dry that nothing comes out no phlegm. Day 3 Our cough is getting worst despite of all the medicine that we take so i consulted my nephew. I told him everything all that we felt and he advised us to go to ER immediately for series of test and also for swabbing. I told him i will observe first until the next day, if it still the same then we will go to ER (emergency room) Day 4 We decided to go to ER. This day my cough is still terrible but no headache and bodyache. At the back of my mind what if this is covid? that's why we went to ER. There we did a series of tests, RT PCR, xray and cbc. We spent almost the whole day waiting for our turn because all patients going to ER must be isolated first and you just cannot mix with other people so we waited for our turn. Then the result for xray and cbc came out all normal. Swab test result will comes in 2 to 3 days. Then we went home. Day 5 I thought we're okey already. No fever no bodyache no headache only terrible coughing. Here we received the result, I am POSITIVE and my hubby is negative. This time i'm paranoid. I panicked, I cried because i will be alone. Thinking that the LGU will take me to facility and will be alone for the whole journey I'm so scared😢💔💔 Day 6 My nephew visited us and checked up us. Our lungs still in good condition. He gave us a different medicines including antibiotic. Advised us to take more water from time to time, eat a lot of fruits and vegies and vitamins including zinc. All we need to do is to take and do all his advise to make us healthy and recover soon. Till my next story... Hoping for our full recovery🙏🙏🙏 Stay safe everyone!!! Covid is not a joke!!!
