If the road you are in now is difficult, narrow, winding and rough, console yourself that it is not the end, and that there is something beautiful round the bend. The way of the cross is difficult, but it leads us to life and peace. The way of the world is comfortable and convenient, but it leads to sadness and emptiness. A MOMENT WITH THE LORD Lord, help me to choose and stay on the way of the cross even if, and especially when, it is not easy. Amen. Luke 9:23 *** Today is Holy Thursday when we celebrate the institution of the Holy Eucharist during the Last Supper of our Lord Jesus with His apostles. On Good Friday, when we commemorate the Way of the Cross (Passion and Death of our Lord Jesus) that will lead us to life and peace.
