'So Far Away' is a song where Yoongi talks about the fears that come with not having a dream, feeling like you're getting left behind in a world that expects you to quickly pick yourself. He shares his story where he was all alone while everyone was leaving him. This is because he was unsure of what to do with his life. If he wants to pursue music, it might be hard for him because he had no one supporting his dream of music. Although Yoongi has addressed the depressing emotions he feels in this song, he intended to provide hope to people who felt exactly how he did and also wishes them a prosperous life.
