WAVES IN THE SKY! 🌊☁️ LOOK: A rare cloud formation appears over the sky of Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte Philippines at sunset on Thursday, July 22, 2021. Armand Frasco caught this fleeting cloud formation, also known as Kelvin-Helmholtz cloud. This type of cloud creates a dramatic wave pattern. Kelvin-Helmholtz cloud is named after Hermann von Helmholtz and William Thomson Kelvin, who studied the physics of the instability that leads to this type of cloud formation. 📸 Armand Frasco #Photography
