“After I have been raised from the dead, I will go ahead of you to Galilee and meet you there.” (Matthew ‭26:32‬) Here is the epitome of confidence and trust in God. Even with the extremely awful events coming in the next few days of his life (betrayal, abandonment, lies and treachery, false arrest, torture, and a gruesome death), Jesus knew they were only pit stops on a much greater journey. And he was planning accordingly. Think about this: we must develop the same perspective. Whatever is happening right now is part of a very temporary present. Look beyond it. The master architect of our lives has a very specific blueprint for the future, and it should excite our belief and attention. Don't let little things like conflict, persecution, and death be a deterrent to your outlook on life. God already has contingencies in place and we can trust completely in his ability to overcome any troubles we face; and Jesus is preparing heaven for our arrival—“I will go ahead of you and meet you there.” #life
